purrantula replied to your post: Unrealised Projects (a growing list)
I love, love the idea of number four. I did a degree in Classical Civilisation and a module on art in my first year.
I’ve been doing an increasing amount of artwork over the past few years connected with Greek mythology, combined with a holiday where I got to visit Mycenae (which was absolutely wonderful, although it’s not Classical Greece since it predates that period by several centuries).
I’m still working on a limited edition of handmade books of artwork called “The Book of the Erinyes” which is seriously overdue (I meant to finish it back in 2011, but it’s still “a work in progress” - more here), and I did two series of photographs based around the character of Medea end of last year/beginning of this year.

I’ve seen your Medea photographs, they were very interesting. Any way in which the Classical world inspires modern art is to be celebrated - when I had a camera, I thought about a project based on Ovid’s Metamorphoses, but it never came to anything.
